Azog the Defiler

First things first......I love this model!!! Unfortunately its a commission piece and is now boxed up on its way to Germany.  A pretty tough model to paint with all the white.  I am not really a fan of the Games Workshop paint job as Azog appears a bit too clean for an orc.  I have darkened his skin slightly and also given the scars a little more depth.  I think it helps give him a rougher, dirtier more orcish appearence.

I did try and write a step by step painting guide for him but after about the first hour of painting it all became a little hectic so i stopped making notes.  I plan on painting him again at some point (lol next year) and should be able to write a guide second time around.  Hopefully i might have learnt from the many mistakes I encountered along the way with this guy.  Still, I am happy with the end result.
