This is going to be a recurring motif of this site in coming months as I start to write about various games, but the French know how to do games. Seriously. I’ve finally worked up the courage to start painting my Alkemy figures, which are easily some of my favorite miniatures ever, and certainly that I own. Never heard of Alkemy? One of the greatest failed miniature games of all time. Except it’s not exactly dead–life support is more apt. But I have about 30 figures that I’m going to be debuting over the next few months. Here are the first two Aurlok Crow warriors. I can’t describe how awesome these figures are to paint. I’m also feeling like I kind of had a breakthrough in my technique with them. Wait ’til you see the Toad Thunder Warriors!
