I recently ordered some stuff from Wayland Games, including the plastic Mirkwood Rangers from the last Hobbit movie: The Desolation of Smaug.
Guess what! I recieve an email saying that they are discontinued! Already! Wow, that was quick! Below is a snipet of the email I recieved.
Regarding your recent order reference 140101-112654-8833 we regret to inform you that we have been notified by our suppliers that the product:
'99121463006 - Mirkwood Rangers'
is no longer available and has been discontinued which means that we are unable to fulfill this item on your order. If you would be so kind as to contact us indicating whether you would prefer its' value to be refunded to store credit or to your original payment method we shall action that for you immediately.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
So, does anyone have some info on what is going on? Was there a production defect? Were they not approved?
