Way back in the day before Battlefleet Gothic, and before X-Wing Miniatures there was the Space Fleet "board game".
I saw a picture of this posted the other day by Eric James von Hippel and it really brought back some memories.
Released in the early 90's it was a neat little one off thing that was pretty cool for a hybrid board /miniatures game. It was however lacking in the replay value and depth of rules from what I remember.
Of cousre this was back in the day when Games Workshop did...
