One big happy goblin family. |
Lots and lots of goblins. The goblin king was a last-minute addition but he was worth it. I really love the pose of the model, on the fallen column.
The Barrow Wights were among the first models I finished after the goblins. I painted the pair up in a day. I was really happy with how they turned out, considering I didn't spend as much time on them as I usually would. I might be getting a little speedier at painting.
Baby Balrog of course. |
I finished the foot Tainted ages and ages ago, but only got around to the mounted recently. I was skeptical of my ability to paint horses, but after all those Saga horses, one more was like nothing at all. I did go back and touch of the Tainted on foot, because it had been over a year since I painted him.
Of all of them, the Dead Marsh Spectres are definitely my favorite. They were so, so fun to work on and I think they turned out the best of everyone. I got the inspiration for their paint job from a Golden Daemon entry photo in one of the Warhammer Visions magazines. The one in the middle is the one I like best.
