There was another WHQ evening coming up and I wanted to be able to offer all four Warrior Models of the main box to my players. The good thing about WHQ is that you can play it just like any other board game with friends who don’t have tons of models painted at home. The last one missing was the Elf and I gave him a very own interpretation again. I wanted him to be a Wood Elf and I couldn’t bring myself to give him green clothes even if I intended to do so. I went for that autumn / birch look instead.
Aerenial Fireleaf comes from a part of Athel Loren that is known for its dark blood elm and birch trees. Since his early days he has been a maverick, mostly not enjoying the company of his brethren and sisters. So it was no huge surprise for the elders when he left his kin to travel the Old World promising to return one day. Quickly he noticed that even if full of strange wonders the Old World and his home had an important thing in common. There were countless beasts and monsters to fight and innocent beings to protect.
