[Dynasty Warriors] Part One: Awakening

Heh.

Fleshlings, your time has come. 

Yes, they are necrons. I picked up a megaforce of them a while back (it was being sent back to GW HQ for obvious splitting and reboxing) and that's the story of how I was bio-transferred. I've decided to put other projects on hold for the time being and concentrate on building and painting these guys as I go along. So far I have 4 warriors ready for priming and all my scarab swarms. Thus far. I am looking to add a night scythe and possibly the contents of a battalion as more troops = more fun, plus more immortals/deathmark torso swaps.

 Scarabs are teh cutest things evah. I dunno why, they just look adorable.
 I wanted to do them in various poses, cuz if they were gonna be posed the same, why have a multi-part kit, eh?
 The box. I want to paint as I go, so soon I'll be priming the 4 warriors and scarabs. At this stage, I am unsure of my colour scheme, especially with the green rods. I kinda want an alternative colour, so I might cast up my own rods in resin and add a glaze or something. The warriors I know will be mostly silver, but with a small amount of my dynasty's colours- sort of like a 'property of' sticker for the grunts. Higher up troops and lords will have more colour...but in all likeliness be silver as well.

Might go for yellow rods, for some reason that's calling to me despite how hard it's gonna be for glowing orbs and so on.
