The storm has come and gone from Chickhammer Manor, and thankfully we didn't take any damage. However, with two days off from work and only a short power outage, I was able to dedicate my "stay indoors" time to getting some painting done.
So I started working on the fur of my Fenrisian wolves. I wanted a variety to their coloration, so I did several different shades. Some are old paint colors, some are new. I honestly couldn't tell you which is which now.
Overall, though, I am not very happy with how their fur has turned out. They just look... blah. I thought painting their fur would go similarly to how I painted the beards on my Dwarfs, but they didn't end up looking as good. I'm not sure what to do about it. I even briefly considered stripping them and starting over.
How have you gone about painting fur? Any tips would be appreciated.
