The War For Pantheon Prime. A system burns in conflict, three factions faced off for the control of one of the main worlds in the planetary system. For over six weeks, the games raged for glory and for ruin.

This is a local campaign that I ran recently and it just finished up this weekend. So, here is the run down.

Pantheon Prime is the hab Word in the Pantheon Sector. It sports three main Hive Cities. These were the centres of Imperial colonization and main manufacturing, and staging for the sector. It was the first habitable planet and served the Imperium well although it was one of the first planets to fall during the so called “revolution”. The one called “The chosed one” rose to power in the slums and hab cells of the working class, seeds of heresy and of revolt had been sown by unseen figures and unheard voices. As if a great destroyer engulfed the world, the local PDF forces were quickly overwhelmed and retreated to the manufactorums and power generating stations. The summoning of the Chosen one sent the system into stasis as a great warp storm held the system into stasis. The Imperial Crusading forces arrive at the system as the warp storm is starting to recede and other outside forces all converge on the Pantheon Sector. The war for Pantheon Prime was a bloody and brutal affair.

The Players on the winning team were:

The Crusaders:
CJ and His Iron hands - the Iron Hands were the most pivotal forces in the campaign, they gained ground, held key objectives and protected the power generators and the manufactorums. The Captain of the Iron Hands company present on Pantheon Prime was often in the thick of the fighting with his trusted Sternguard. The barrages of thunderfire cannon shells and armoured might of the Astartes was too much for the enemies to handle. The Imperial Victory on Pantheon Prime was greatly due to this one force of core warriors.

Brian and his Raven Guard - The Raven Guard present on pantheon prime were primarily fighting guerrilla warfare against the Renegade and hostile forces on the planet. They seemed to suffer in prolonged city fights and were not as effective in urban warfare. The Dark Eldar Kabalite warriors took a heavy toll on the Space Marines at the first battle of the manufactorum this then forced them to mainly fight as a rearguard for the remainder of the campaign.

Kevin and his Astra Militarum - The Imperial Guard, although in high demand did not see as much combat on the Hab World as on other planets in the campaign. Their armoured might was key at times breaking through defended positions or plugging holes in the space marine lines during the Dark Eldar and Eldar assaut on Hive City Grand.

Thanks alot to all the players who participated in the campaign. It was a lot of fun. Cant wait to run another. Have you ever run or played in a campaign? Tell me about it!

Cheers.
Skari - out.
