At the end of the great crusade the Sons of Horus were among the best supplied Legions of all. The Warmaster and his strong ties towards the Mechanicum made sure that this was the case. So even if the MK IV was quite common within the Legion’s ranks there were still MK III and even MK II to be found.
This post is a continuation of the previous MK III post dating back some months now. So it’s not really surprising that I felt the need to boost my tactical squad with some even older armour patterns.
