Hello everyone. (announcements after ramble)
This post is not entirely wargaming related, but I figured it fits here because it is something that I have mentioned a few times before. I have recently spent the money and acquired a new video setup for wargaming videos and other things (I have a short film in the works). I have decided to make a little series out of this, showing you what I have gotten and how I arrived at this choice. The items are all coming from different sources, so this gives me time to put up different things over time. Eventually, I hope to do a review on the entire setup (which will be 1080p!).
To start things off, today I received my Audio-Technica ATR-6550 Condenser Shotgun Microphone.
This is because the camera I am ordering does not have a great built-in microphone but it does have an external mic jack.
Why did I choose this one? Well, it had good reviews on Amazon and B&H; people seemed satisfied with it. I watched a few video tutorials and determined that the sound quality was good enough at this price point to make the purchase. I've been told that you can't get a good microphone under $200, but I think that I can make this one work. This will make Let's Paint audio much better, I hope.

Short review today, but there isn't a ton I can do with it just yet. Stay tuned for more.
In other news:
By the middle of next week we are hoping to add another product to our webstore, we are pretty excited for that. Watch YouTube for an announcement vid!
Also, we are investigating doing a Google Hangout Let's Paint sometime soon, we just need the camera to come.

Thanks for reading.
