As I was rummaging through one of my many many boxes recently I came across some older Citadel Miniatures, and yes, I have used the correct name as these figures are old enough to have originally been packaged as Citadel.

So today I took delivery of some Enigma miniatures that I intend on using as count as figures in my Warhammer Fantasy Chaos army. There will be one of the count as miniatures per squad as I don't want to replace the Games Workshop models as much as add a champion style character that really stands out and towers over the rest and the Enigma miniatures are in heroic 32mm scale.

After looking at the Enigma miniatures it made me think about breaking out the relics that I had sitting in that box and cleaning them off as they might also make for great center pieces to an army. Anyway, enough talk, take a look at the relics. Descriptions and dates are taken from the model stands.

GW 1988, Champion of Chaos

GW 1985, Marauder

GW 1988, Chaos Warrior

Undated, Chaos Warrior

GW 1987, Chaos Champion

GW 1985, Chaos Warrior

GW 1985, Chaos Warrior

The last miniature I looked for in every toy and hobby store I went near from Sydney to Tamworth until I found him, which wasn't till a few years after the hunt began. I first spotted him in a Citadel Miniatures catalogue that use to come out each year and just had to have him.

Thus ends today's history lesson.
