Imperial Fists

So work has begun on the first 500 points of Imperial Fists. As mentioned, this will be a nice slow project, something that is as much hobby as it is gaming. Once the 500 points are done, well, then we see what I paint next as I'm in no rush, I really want to get FW everywhere and make the army look tight.

Speaking of tight hobby, have you seen the 40k 6th Edition starter?! Dear Lord, those are some amazing looking models! I may just have to order one and paint up some Chaos Chosen! The new White Dwarf is out, so you head over to your local shop and buy a copy, you won't regret it.

These models look just plain stunning. I'm a sucker for ornate armor. According to White Dwarf, these gentlemen are members of the Crimson Slaughter, renegade Marines.

Again, I'm not a huge White Dwarf fan, but there is nice background information on this renegade chapter and what their motivations are. So if you're into 40k fluff, it's a fun read. The eye candy is great, too.
