You know, I hate excuses.
While I can often come up with a myriad of excuses for the littlest things, I often hate to use those excuses because it sounds...too weak.
I frequently see people on YouTube or some other digital media say "Sorry, I can't make videos often because of school/work/moving/sickness etc". I sympathize with those people, now more than ever.
The reason? Because as of today, I am making the decision (along with Elliott) to put E.D. Wargaming on hold for a few months.
This is not an easy decision. We've both put many hours into this business, and nurtured it from a dinky blog to a 1000 hits per month hobby source and a business that has sold consistently with our efforts. I regret none of the hours that I've spent on business work.
That is one of the problems, though. E.D. Wargaming became less about the game and more about the products. The monotony got to me and for the past year or so I've been almost unable to voluntarily pick up a brush or some glue. The business overtook the hobby, leaving me sorrowfully longing for the pleasant games and talking shop on forums.
So, what does this mean for you all, our followers? We will still be around, maybe even putting out a little bit of content here and there. However, our store is offline and no products will be sold for the next few months. We are in the process of negotiating a deal to sell out the rest of our stock.
When Elliott and I both are back in the country in the summer, we want to dust off our old green & black and continue to innovate and produce low cost products enjoyable by all hobbyists as we have been doing.
I thank you for your time.
