I've had the Black Reach Dreadnought sitting around for a while, but the requirement to take a Dreadnought in the Blood Angels Battle Demi-Company finally gave me a reason to paint him up. While a multi-melta probably isn't what I would go with if was starting from scratch, I think it'll work well once I get a Drop Pod for him.
I airbrushed the armor with a solid layer of Evil Sunz Scarlet, shaded it with Sewer Water, and highlighted with Wild Rider Red. This turned out to be the quickest red paint job that I've managed so far. Layering on the Blood Red or Evil Sunz Scarlet tends to be the most time consuming part of painting red, so cutting it out really sped things up.
The Dreadnought is a bit generic, but I put two of the Blood Angels icons from Drop Pods on him to give him a bit more character. They don't fit perfectly, but I think that adds to the charm.
