Thanksgiving Hangover: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Last weekend saw five large Warhammer 40k tournaments with at least 28 players and 5 rounds. As much of North America was full on turkey, the rest of the world had a few large events to fill our Warhammer 40k meta cravings. Chaos Daemons with or without Chaos Space Marines won the week taking a 3rd of the events combined, with no other faction scoring more than two podiums.

Votann grabbed two spots this week, which foretells well for the army to at least be a player in the meta going forward. Imperial Guard are about to show up too, so we can expect a more shooty meta to pop up, especially when telegraphed point increases are coming soon to things like Chaos Daemon Flamers.
