Arks of Omens Spreading Its Wings: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Last weekend, seven large Warhammer 40K events took place with at least 26 players competing in 5 rounds. A total of 21 lists were used, with 12 different factions represented. Another batch of data, this time from many more events than last week, shows that Space Marines and their variants continue to perform very well, which was expected. One thing to watch out for is the declining variety in this week’s events, as there were three more events than last week but fewer factions occupying the top 3 spots.

The other story from the week was the fantastic performance of Genestealer Cults. Thanks to easy secondaries and no Armies of Chaos to deal with, they have been able to shine. It also might have something to do with Tyranids being kicked out of the top, leaving those players to move to other four-armed forces. Additionally, Chaos Daemons are holding strong, and the Flamers of Tzeentch nerf has done nothing to deter players from taking them.
