Aeldari Roll Over the “Nerfs”: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Jul 17, 2023

Last weekend, seven large Warhammer 40K events took place, with at least 26 players competing in five rounds. A total of 21 10th edition lists were present, representing 10 different factions. Aeldari continued to dominate, even with all the “nerfs” that were supposed to rein them in. However, what makes matters worse with the new edition is the sharp drop in army diversity, as only eight factions secured top podiums, and two Aeldari and Genestealer Cults swept the events.

Imperial Knights seem to be the only faction really affected by the balanced datasheet, but that just happens to also remove one of the best factions against Aeldari. Will we see further balancing sooner rather than later, or will Games Workshop decide to be stubborn and do nothing until the end of the year?
