Will 10th Edition Make it to September: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Aug 20, 2023

Over the past weekend, six major Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is grounded in their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 36 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 12 distinct factions. The status quo was restored as the Aeldari dominated the opposition once again. As you will see, the larger events attracted players solely focused on achieving victory, leaving aside other considerations.

As we anticipate the September Balance Update, we find ourselves in a position where we must simply wait while Games Workshop appears idle. In the interim, we were pleasantly surprised by the legitimate success of the T’au faction, without any instances of cheating this time. Additionally, it’s possible that the post-Aeldari meta is already taking shape, with Necrons and a balanced range of armies gaining prominence and achieving victories.
