The Astra Militarum Rise in a Slow Week: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results
Over the past weekend, 5 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 12 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 9 distinct factions. While it was a slow week for events, we did have a significant one in the UK, where the Imperial Guard showed their mettle and won a 150-plus GT. That wasn’t an isolated incident. As well, Aeldari have quickly disappeared, but is this due to not enough events or is it a trend everyone has been hoping for? We will have to wait a few more weeks to find out.

Aside from the Imperial Guard showing up, it is clear that the Custodes have more firepower thanks to the latest Dataslate. As for the rest of the factions, we are observing significant parity, indicating that the game might be moving towards a healthier state.
