We are fast approaching another codex and BoLS has done a good job compiling what to expect from Codex: Space Wolves. As much as I hate the idea of another Space Marine Codex it is my duty go over the latest rumors. I will try to freak about all the OP possibilities they will have.

First off,  it will be written by Phil Kelly his first Human codex, meaning expect random shit to fly, as he will attempt to make Space Wolves as non marine as possible

Sagas: Sagas according to BoLS sound really confusing.  I am guessing they are going to work like permanent Orders where you issue them at the start of the game after you see your opponents army. It will also allow Phil to one up Robin Cruddace. Better question, will they replace combat tactics? Until we see the bonuses and drawbacks really no point in speculating.

Wolf Claws: Not game breaking, but pretty nasty. Let’s see the point cost first, because if they are the same price as normal lightning claws, then some Space Marines players are going to be angry. I love when players are given choice in the heat of a battle can seperate the weak player from the strong one.

Special Characters: I would have to care about Space Wolf fluff to really give a shit. I just hope the Canis Wolfborn model floating around the Internet is true, because that model looks sweet.

How will I convert him to suit my needs muhahaha? I hope he is not the only way Space Wolves can get wolf packs.

HQ: Wolf Priests seem to have many folks panties in a bunch. Yes, the idea of Chaplain and Apothecary in one model might create game breaking situations, but once again let us see how many points he will cost in comparison to everything else.

Elites: Lone Wolf sounds more like Marbo and less like a Lictor. If it is only one wound, then it will be an epic fail. The Wulfenwill get the Legion of the Damned treatment as speculated.

Troops: Blood Claws will show if GW keeps the trend of not expanding special abilities or will a big can of worms open, creating a new form of furious charge that could have rules and balance issues. Grey Hunters with a second special weapon, yeah I bet CSM players love the idea of that.

Fast Attack: Blood Claws Skyriders aka do I get to assault from deepstrike and cost nothing and no drawbacks? Perhaps the key for people to play jump pack troops.

Heavy Support: Long Fangs I hope they get the ability to move and fire since everyone hates normal Dev Squads. Also really, please GW can you not make another Land Raider variant because everyone needs an excuse to drop $50 bucks on the same model they already have. Will it hold 20 Termies? What about no Lemun Russ tanks, give me a break if you were generally shocked they were out. As a side rant, I will pull my hair out if Blood Angels are next give me a Marine break please!

Besides the codex rumors, there is the topic of my 3rd ed Space Marine modeling nightmares. There should be NO excuse for these crappy models.

Wolves

Bland poses, combined with retarded heads makes for no fun. It is obvious you will buy a Space Wolf box and get an extra bits sprue, after GW adds $10 bucks to the kit. Are these the models that make you want to buy Space Wolves? They look just plain rushed. It is as if GW saw the current sales for the year, freaked out, and commanded more Space Marines. Also, the paint jobs are sad. If you want to make an impact show me a new character or unit, like last year with the Thunderfire Cannon you might not of bought it, but it sure got you interested. I have little interest in Space Wolves and part of me wants them to sell poorly, still I am shocked GW rolled out these models.

More and more details should be coming, and I will be here to show my middle finger. I almost forgot, GW where is my fucking DARK ELDAR!

First off it will be written by Phil Kelly which will be his first Imperial codex meaning expect very random ass shit as he will attempt to make Space Wolves as unmarine as possible.

Sagas: Sagas according to BoLS is kind of confusing. The example is given of Vampire Counts I am guessing they are going to work more like permanent Orders where you issue them at the start of the game after you see your opponents army. It will also allow Phil to one up Robin Cruddace. Will they replace combat tactics? Until we see what these things really are there is no point in speculating how powerful they will be.
