My friends over at the Independent Characters turned me to a battle report which has the production value of a good indie film. The battle report features many professional film making techniques, making for the sleekest video batrep you have ever seen. This doesn’t mean there isn’t any problems. Extreme close-ups of the players is off-putting– be glad though they aren’t George R. R. Martin looking dudes. The audio could use some work as well and the game itself wasn’t compelling (needed some forging of a narrative), but overall this is the best battle report I have seen in a damn long time.
I recommend everyone give it a look and give creators over at 40k Global some feedback; the effort is there and with some minor tweaks they could have the best battle reports ever made.
Reminder, this is their first battle report and damn just think what they can do with constructive community suggestions!
