Champions of Fenris Special Rules

Sagaborn: Characters part of a Detachment or Formation from Champions of Fenris Must always issue and accept challenges.

First Among Equals: All Wolf Guard Battle Leaders, Wolfguard, Terminator Wolf Guard, Thunderwolf Calvary have Preferred Enemy in Challenges.

Relics of the Great Wolf:

Armour of Asvald Stormwrack: 50pts Terminator armor with 2+ 4++ Bulky, Deep Strike, It Will Not Die, Relentless

Frostfury: 15pts 24" S4 AP5 Assault 4, Helfrost.

Krakenborne Sword: 35pts S +1 AP 2 Melee, Mastercrafted.

Morkai's Claws: 45pts S +1 AP 3 Melee, Maul, Rending, Shred, Specialist Weapon Maul: gains D3 attacks instead of 1.

The Pelt of Balewolf: 10pts Fear. Beasts, Cavalry or Monstrous Creatures units fail their Fear test automatically in Assault

Fellclaw's Teeth: 15pts Re-rolls all failed to hit rolls in close combat.

Warlord Traits:

Fire in the Blood: re-roll single failed saving throw every turn.

Thread-Cutter: re-roll all failed to wound rolls.

Gatekeeper: Nominate one weapon carried by warlord, becomes Master Crafted cannot be used on relics.

Blessing of the Wolf: Warlord and any unit he joins during deployment have Outflank.

Thane to the King: Warlord is Fearless.

Deeds Beyond Counting: Warlord has Preferred Enemy.

Command Benefits: Grimnar's Right Hand - Re-roll warlord trait. Kingsguard - Wolf Guard, Wolf Guard Pack Leader, Wolf Guard Terminators, Thunder Wolf Calvary gain +1 WS

Optional: 3 HQ 3 Troops 6 Elites 3 FA 3 HS 1 Fortification 1 Lord of War

Formations:

Kingsguard Stormforce:
Logan Grimnar with Stormrider, 1 Wolf Guard Terminator Unit, 1 Landraider, 1 Stormfang Gunship
Special Rules: First Among Equals, Kingsguard, Sagaborn
First into the Fray: On any turn that they disembark from the Formations Landraider, Wolf Guard Terminators pack has Furious Charge and can re-roll failed charges.
Wrath of the Stormfang: As long as Logan is alive, the controlling player can choose to pass or fail any Reserve Rolls for the Formations Stormfang Gunship

Brethren of the Fell-Handed:
Bjorn the Fell-Handed, 2 Venerable Dreadnaughts
Special Rules: Adamantium Will, Sagaborn
Blessing of Russ: Within 6 inches of Bjorn they gain 5++
Warriors of Legend: Whilst Bjorn is alive, the formation re-rolls all failed to hit rolls in close combat.

Wolf Guard Void Claws:
1 Unit of Wolf Guard Terminators with Wolf Claws
Special Rules: First Among Equals, Kingsguard, Sagaborn
Coordinated Assault: As long as at least one model from this Formation is still alive and on the table, you can re-roll any Reserve rolls.
If Needs Must: When this unit arrives from Deep strike, you can re-roll the scatter if you wish.
Spearhead Strikes: All units from this Formation, begin in Reserves, must arrive by Deep Strike in your first turn.

Grimnar's Wolf Council:
Ulrick the Slayer, Njal Stormcaller, 1 Rune Priest and 1 Iron Priest
Special Rules: Fearless, First Among Equals, Sagaborn
Conclave of War: If deployed as a single unit, the formation loses Independent Characters Special Rule, no model with the Independent Character special rule can join Grimnar's Wolf Council with the exception of Logan Grimnar on foot and Arjac Rockfist, If Logan Grimnar dies Fearless is replaced with Zealot for the remainder of the unit.
Wise Council: an army with this formation, can re-roll the dice for determining who deploys first and adds +2 to the dice roll for Seize the Initiative.

Arjac's Shieldbrothers:
Arjac Rockfist, 1 Unit of Wolf Guard Terminators, 1 Land Raider Crusader
Special Rules: First Among Equals, Kingsguard, Sagaborn, Hammer of Wrath.
Protect the King!: As long as Grimnar is alive the Formation has Fearless, if he's slain, its replaced with Zealot.
Shieldwall: Any model in this Formation in base contact with at least one model from this Formation has +1 Toughness
Each time a model from this Formation passes a save against a close combat attack, on a roll of a 6, the attacking unit suffers an immediate hit at S8 AP2 Concussive randomly allocated.

Wolf Guard Thunderstrike:
1 Unit of Wolf Guard Terminators, 1 Unit of Wolf Guard, 1 Drop Pod
Special Rules: First Among Equals, Kingsguard, Sagaborn
Explosive Arrival: During the turn in which they arrive from Reserves, the ranged weapons of all Infantry Weapons from this Formation have Twin-Linked Special Rule
Thunderstrike: When rolling for Reserves make a single roll to see when this Formation arrives, on a successful roll all units in this Formation will arrive, These units must Deep Strike.

Kingsguard Stormforce ,Brethren of the Fell-Handed, Wolf Guard Void Claws, Grimnar's War Council, Arjac's Shieldbrothers, Wolf Guard Thunderstrike
Each Formations Special Rules apply.
All unit gain Fear and Fearless as well
Great Wolf: As long as Grimnar is alive, all non vehicle models in this Formation re-roll failed to hit rolls in close combat.
Iron High Priest: As long as the Iron priest is alive, all vehicle models have It Will Not Die.
Rune High Priest: As long as Stormcaller is alive, all models in this formation have Adamantium Will.
Wolf High Priest: As long as Ulrik is alive, all models in this formation have Preferred Enemy.
