As I post this I just flew into Portland and embark on a road trip to Storm of Silence! A 50+ two-day ITC Tournament hosted by Gamer’s Haven. Which most of you should be aware of if you been following this week’s posts.
As a reminder here is the list I am taking up.
Dark Angel Storm of Silence List
I am traveling with up with some well known players members for the event, I expect them to do well and part of my coverage will focus on their exploits.
Ben Schimmoller member of Team Zero Comp and Jeremy Veysseire otherwise known as the French Overlord.
Here are the lists they are using for the event.
Mr.MoreTanks Storm of Slience List
French Overlord Bridge Too Far List
So, check back starting Saturday pictures, insights, and probably some Eldar whining.
About to start round one: not many Eldar, but loads of daemonkin with lots of dogs.
Won my first round vs middle pod tau!
French overlord won with his ad-mech
Ben more tanks tied
Other notable winners. Are Ben Cromwell and Sean abusepuppy Morgan.
Won game 2
Ben more tanks won, overlord won
Cromwell won
Abusepuppy lost: No 7th Ed Eldar are undeated.
Dark Angels are 3-0
Both Ben’s lost
French Overlord tied.
My poor dark Angels finally lost to a great player. It came down to not running down a death mark squad and some great model placement denial. I am really bummed I should have won, but didn’t happened. I will have to learn and somehow go in with my life.
Lost game 5 on turn 7 was winning on five and 6. Great game though came down for deep hole. Against Ben moretanks 🙂
So went 3-2 but both my losses I was winning for most of the turns. I am truly surprised with how well my list did. I got to play different armies in each round was fantastic.
Either way I got a ton of points for best dark angel player.
As for the rest of field, looks like orks took best overall going 5-0!
And the French overlord going 4-0-1 so he probably got 2nd best with ad-mech.
Warning
Tits for Tournaments is rated factually opinionated. Expect results, army lists, and some light bitching about boring spam lists to follow.
