Warning
Network News is rated: trending land of make believe importance for this blog
Watching stocks over the short-term is often an experiment in futility; on March 8th 2016 we looked back at the state of Games Workshop’s stock price and general financial health.
So here is the post to get us caught up with everything GW money. Going forward this will be a monthly article not a bi-monthly article to track each month. Depending on how much financial news is going on these posts could be nothing more than screen shots of what happen to GW stock over the previous month, but of course if real juicy stuff comes up it will be more in-depth.
Anyway, let us see if anything has really changed for GW over the last month.
While American stocks have rebounded completely from the winter months, British market hasn’t been as rosy. Regardless, if the general British malaise has had direct effect on GW stock we might get some insight over the last month.
As you can see GW is down over 7% for the last month! That is pretty scary and they are below their Mendoza line of 500 since last week. Now, this dip might have an explanation if you look at the stock over the last year.
How does this all compare year to year?
Things do look bad, but this seems to be GW M.O. for the last few years, where they lose lots of steam after a bad annual reports in January, only to recover in the summer after the next report isn’t as bad. One thing though, ever since the big crash a few years ago the stock has clearly not recovered anywhere close to where they should be.
It will be interesting to see if the pattern happens again for 2016, with GW ever so slightly continuing to lose ground overall.
