The Parity Party Returns: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Last weekend had 10 large Warhammer 40k tournaments with at least 28 players and 5 rounds. Tyranids clawed their way back to the top with 5 places, but hardly dominating. The real story is all the other armies who performed well, from Chaos Daemons to surprise Adeptus Custodes, both scoring best general 1st places. All in all, the minor balance changes seems to be making at least a few players think again about taking either Tyranids or Harlequins, but will it last.

It is hard to know if armies like Adeptus Custodes and Chaos Knights doing well is more a product of player skill or not, we will need a few more weeks to see if it becomes a trend. We did get a 1st place League of Votann which should make everyone wonder if the meta is about to take a turn for the worse, along with Imperial Guard right around the corner.
