Bland before the Holidays: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Last weekend saw 7 large Warhammer 40k tournaments with at least 28 players and 5 rounds. The meta was pretty unsurprising with Chaos Daemons (Flamers) back on top and 10 different factions grabbing podiums. We do see a bit of faction abandonment with Harlequins being replaced with Ynnari and Drukhari over the last couple of weeks and the T’au Empire making an appearance.

The Astra Militarum will not be making much of an impact for the rest of the year as Games Workshop has officially put the kibosh on allowing the new codex until the codex gets its own separate release. This allowed the Las Vegas Open to follow suit, so we can expect no major event using it until after January 2023.
