Astra Militarum Are Now Unleashed: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results
Last weekend, seven large Warhammer 40K events took place, with at least 26 players competing in 5 rounds. A total of 30 lists were used, with 13 different factions represented. It seemed like it was only a matter of time, but the Astra Militarum has arrived. Now that the full model line is out, everyone has painted the Lord Solar and the devastation of Karskin brokenness is fully unleashed. The Astra Militarum grabbed almost more podiums than the next three factions combined. We haven’t seen this type of domination in a long time.

The other stories from the weekend saw Black Templars make waves as the decent Melta warriors, along with some of the best defenses the Space Marines have. The other interesting thing of notice was the addition of a World Eaters list. It looks like one event decided to allow them, giving us a glimpse of some very angry futures.
According to Games Workshop’s Meta Watch from last week, we can’t expect any adjustments soon. So, our only hope is an Imperial Guard FAQ to save us from a new skewed meta.
