The Tanks Be Rollin’: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Last weekend, 11 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with at least 26 players competing in five rounds. A total of 33 lists were used, with 16 different factions represented. With two giant events last weekend, we got a good idea of how the meta is looking, and at least for one weekend, it was a shooting gallery. Imperial Guard rose back to the top, with Votann coming out of nowhere to take a few podiums. The meta was basically, if you have strong tanks, you got places.

With the announcement of the 10th edition and the upcoming mid-season update, it will be interesting to see how players adapt, or if they lose interest, as we get closer to the new rules. We should expect to see nerfs to Dark Angels, Imperial Guard, and most likely Daemons and Space Marines in the coming weeks.
