The Dying Race Rises: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Last weekend, 10 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with at least 26 players competing in five rounds. A total of 30 lists were used, with 14 different factions represented. The Aeldari decided to make waves by gathering five podiums this week, but it didn’t stop the Imperial Guard from continuing its string of good performances. Below them was a hodgepodge of the usual suspects we have come to know with the Arks of Omens season.

The surprise of the week certainly came from the Tyranids, who showed up and grabbed two 1st place showings! It certainly looks like an anomaly, so we will have to wait and see if the next couple of weeks show any more bug movement. Overall, faction diversity is down from previous weeks, indicating some consolidation in terms of the factions that top players are choosing to play.
