Can’t Keep a Good Elf Down: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Oct 31, 2023

Over the past weekend, 6 major Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 18 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 18 distinct factions. As we approach the holiday season, we should anticipate fewer and fewer events. This weekend, there are only six large events, and Aeldari have returned to dominate the weekend, with no other faction securing more than 2 podium finishes.

Not much to report outside of Aeldari dominating, but we can say that World Eaters have secured a top 3 podium finish for the third week in a row. It also appears that Space Marine players are experimenting with sub-factions from various chapters to discover the most effective combinations. It will be interesting to see whether the ability to use the Codex Space Marine detachments will be permitted when the first supplements are released for the different chapters.
