The Space Marines Gang Up on Aeldari: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Over the past weekend, 16 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 48 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 19 distinct factions. We had a ton of events over the weekend as organizers tried to schedule as many as possible before everyone goes away for the winter holidays. Aeldari once again won the weekend, but if you combine the Space Marine factions using the new Space Marine codex rules, Aeldari would actually lag very far behind. Additionally, World Eaters and Chaos Space Marines continue to perform very well as index only factions.

As it seems, almost every week, we get another faction to come out of the blue and perform well at events. This time, it was the Imperial Guard. If you consider the surprise placings by both Tau and Squats, it looks like gunline armies do have a place in the current Warhammer 40k 10th edition meta.
