LVO 2024 Results and the Rest: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Jan 23, 2024

Over the past weekend, 6 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 18 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing ?? distinct factions. The Las Vegas Open 2024 is over, and with it, there was a great finals game of Index Dominator vs. new Codex hotness. The new boys of Necrons came out on top, thanks to a Deep Striking Monolith of all things; the Old Ones would not be happy. As for the rest of the weekend, we had a smattering of other events across the world, not changing much of what we have come to expect in the current death throes of this season of Warhammer 40k.

Now that the largest event of the year is over, it is time for Games Workshop to step up and give us what we have been craving: a new balance dataslate! The relative quiet on this front has been pretty annoying, with no idea if we are just getting a digital update or actual missions and new cards to play with.
