Necrons the New Aeldari? : Warhammer 40k Tournament Results
Over the past weekend, 9 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 27 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 15 distinct factions. Last weekend, we got a peek at the new Warhammer 40k meta thanks to the newest dataslate. The only problem is that not all the events listed below followed the new rules. However, one thing is for sure: the dominance of the Aeldari is over. Another issue is that it might have been replaced by a new big bad in the form of Necrons, at least until the next round of Codexes comes out.

With Aeldari taking a dip, it has certainly opened up opportunities for other factions, with even the Drukhari making a rare appearance. We are still a few weeks away from gathering enough data to form a clear idea of how the new Warhammer 40k meta will pan out, and we are uncertain if Games Workshop will release a new mission packet anytime soon to further alter the dynamics.
