Howdy all, I've been a little quiet the last few weeks getting ready for the NOVA Open (and moving an hour away, but that's not done yet...), but as a result I've got 8 games to recap, progress updates to make for my Angels of Vengeance, along with a zombie list I'm planning to take to an event called Octoberfist. But, before I get to all that, its time for the summary photo recap of NOVA 2013. Hold onto your butts, this is going to be a massive picture post:

Doom themed daemons list, I didn't get the breakdown of who was what, but they looked awesome.

I saw a large number of attractive Dark Angels armies, I don't think any placed all that well though.

Untitled
Eldar were out in force, and I have to say most looked spectacular. I especially loved the display boards with eldar terrain.

Untitled
Chaos of course was a common sight as well, thought CSM didn't place very well in the GT

Didn't see a ton of orks, but an ork player did table me on day 2 lol

Ton of great old models here, my only dislike was the Sauron, as he's kind of out of place.

This guy plays at my local store, it was an impressively inexpensive army

Hey! My army :)

My friend Joe's army

The Narative event (which was after the GT so I didn't play, as I had to drive an hour to get to the event each day), but their terrain was badass. Each is modeled after a different Washington DC landmark

Fulgrim! This was one of the painting competition entries, not the one I voted for though...

This was the one I voted for, it was just too cool!

That's about all my pictures of the armies in question. I'm looking forward to writing up some battle reports, although my documentation could have been better, I did photograph most of my games!
