Work really took a toll on my blogging this weekend! But I'm back with day four of my Omnipollo reviews week.. If you haven't seen the previous posts here are some quick links: Mazarin, Fatamorgana & Nebuchadnezzar. I've really been enjoying these beers, so much so I am starting to save money for a holiday back to Europe to visit the bar. But that is a tale for a different time, onto the next beer......Zodiak.

Own Opinion

Sight: Pours a wonderfully murky golden yellow, with a good strong white head. Looks great.
Aroma: Quite a malty smelling beer compared to the others. But there is some big hitting aromas of pineapple, passionfruit and peach. Mouth is watering just getting ready to try this beer.
Taste: Surprisingly sweet, the malt aroma from earlier must have left a lot of sugars behind in the beer. But the hops break through filling your mouth with tropical fruit flavours before departing leaving a good bitterness on the tongue.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

Once again Omnipollo have proven their skill in making pale ales. Though heavier in malts and sweetness, this beer is very well rounded out by the choice of hops. The aroma is amazingly sweet and juicy and the taste is like a fruit pastel. So a pretty great home run again. Compared to their other beers the packaging is not my favourite but that is really being picky about this stuff. I look forward to trying to get some more in the near future.

I'm sad to see just one omnipollo beer left to speak about, but it's a fun beer to finish on. So be sure to check back. If you enjoyed this review please share or +1 it. Thanks for reading.
