Taking a glace at the publishing schedule, it's been over 2 months since my last post. It's only fair to offer an overview of why I've waited until now.

Over the last couple of months I've been coming to terms with a stressful personal situation. I won't say what, but I can see that it has been impeding on the hobby I have loved for well over a decade, and a hobby which has helped me though other tough times in my life. It had been getting to the point where I didn't want to write, or paint, or anything really. When you get to that point you find it hard to get back into the swing of things, and rediscover why the hobby brought your joy.

I did have one thing keeping me sane. My wife has been my rock this while time, and with a few start to reflect on the situation she helped me clear my head, effectively allowing me to starting over with this hobby. I wanted to keep you informed on the direction the blog, and other aspects of the hobby, will be going. Firstly I will aim to get back into the swing of regular posting. Whilst I can't guarantee I'll be back up to one post a week right away, I do intend to keep the blog going and get some form of regularity back in place.

Secondly, Black Cat Studios, my conversion studio, will launch. This is an ideal I have been working on over a few months prior to this story, but understandably I had to store away for a little while. The plan is to start offering a service where I can convert unique leaders and vehicles for your armies, from Space Marine Captains to Ork Battlewagons. To build up a portfolio of work I plan to offer a "pay what you think it's worth" approach, charging for material costs plus what you consider the conversion is worth. Whilst it won't guarantee a massive profit, I hope it will allow me to build up an example of work before I create a more concrete pricing structure. Whether you want a conversion in the new year, or simply want to help me spread the word, feel free to share the page (linked above) or get in touch.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who's stayed with Power Armoured Metal. Whilst in the recent past I've been hit and miss with regular posting, it's been good to know you're still reading, and I hope you'll continue to stay with us, supporting the blog, sharing content, and getting involved in discussions.

Thank you.
