by | Jan 31, 2017

Blood of Kittens attempts to provide continued coverage of ITC events, in posts showcasing the top army lists from the largest events.

This particular post chronicles large events for December 2016 to January 2017.

December had only one large event, while January has been filled with tons of GTs and Major Events. The deadline to get ITC events submitted was January 30th, so any points and events that didn’t get their scores didn’t make the cut.

Oh my gos, that was a lot of events to end the ITC season with the LVO being just a few days away! I would have liked to get more lists, but I just didn’t have the same amount time to collect them with LVO so soon.

As for the final breakdown going into LVO, you can see Eldar still dominate as they have all year, but making a mad rush towards the top is the Tau Empire which past Space Marines for third place in total top wins. We also saw the newest hotness the Bark Star makes gains with some 1st place wins and the Genestealer Cults double its top placings.

Below is the current breakdown of what armies are winning events. The list combines all the top events for the year so far, taking only the top three winners from Major or GT events.

  • 42 Eldar
  • 22 Daemon
  • 18 Tau Empire
  • 14 Space Marine
  • 11 Dark Angels
  • 10 Chaos Space Marines & Renegades
  • 6 Ad-Mech
  • 6 Genestealer Cults
  • 5 Imperial Knight
