No Tyranids, No Really!: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Last weekend saw 10 large Warhammer 40k tournaments with at least 28 players and 5 rounds. The first time in a long time we had no Tyranid player land in the Top 3, with a hodgepodge of other armies reigning supreme. Led by Chaos Space Marines and Chaos Daemons with Thousand Sons friends.

Votann showed up again, but the biggest surprise was an Ultramarine Space Marine player scoring a 1st place, using Bobby G and an Astraeus to win. Otherwise, the rest of the meta for the week was a sprinkle of just about every faction. 16 factions grabbed a top spot. Looking forward we should fairly quickly see if the Imperial Guard make a grand entrance in the next couple of weeks to shake up the Warhammer 40k meta.
