While the Best Play Aeldari Ruin the Day: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Nov 22, 2023

Over the past weekend, 12 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 36 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 14 distinct factions. While most of the best players were at one event over the weekend, where Chaos Space Marines dominated, it left the rest of the world at the mercy of the Aeldari. They crushed everyone else with numbers we have not seen since before the last round of nerfs.

It appears that we might be seeing some life from the Space Marines, mostly in the form of sub-factions utilizing new detachment rules. The most notable among them are the Black Templars, which are only considered Black Templars in the sense that their tanks are equipped with multi-meltas, making them a distinct “choice” rather than generic Space Marines. Additionally, we have a surprise appearance from the Deathwatch, who have been absent for some time.
