Calm before the LVO Storm: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Jan 17, 2024

Over the past weekend, 6 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 18 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 10 distinct factions. With only a few days before the biggest Warhammer 40k event of the year, the Las Vegas Open, some interesting late-breaking meta shake-ups might be happening. Necrons, thanks to their new codex, have overtaken Aeldari as the top dogs for at least one week. Will we see some Necron surprises at LVO, we can only hope so!

Now, it is great to see the new Necron codex performing well. However, it won’t matter much as we wait patiently for the next round of updates and the new season of Warhammer 40k, which looks to return us to the Pariah Nexus as the setting. One thing is certain: Eldar will get hit again, but will it be enough to send them back to the Stone Age?
