Bugs Be Bugging: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Aug 22, 2022

Last weekend had 9 large events with at least 28 players and 5 rounds. One week you are on Top the next week you just disappear, that is the current state of the Warhammer 40k competitive meta. Tyranids continue a bit of renaissance, taking 4 1st place spots from these week’s events, while T’au once again disappearing. As well, Sisters and Necrons keep bringing in good performances, thanks to their great secondary game.

Scratching around the fringes of contention were a host of Armour contempt armies as Dark Angels, Blood Angels, and Space Wolves all getting podiums. It was also great to see Chaos Knights score a 1st place at the largest event of the weekend, along with Imperial Knights back to do some damage on the tabletop. Next few weeks will have some large events, but we are still at least 3 weeks away from seeing if the new Chaos Daemons codex will jumble up the meta in any meaningful way.
