So Far, So Good? : Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Apr 24, 2022

Well we made it, and for at least one week the Warhammer 40k meta is a lot healthier, for how long that lasts though is up to how quickly Tyranid and T’au Empire players handle the Armour of Contempt armies. As it is, we have 8 different factions making into top 3 podiums in the 5 large tournaments from the weekend.

The Balance Dataslate seems to so far working its magic, but it is pretty clear the T’au Empire got away with still being really powerful as only one problem was fixed with Broadsides; while Crisis Suits still cause havoc. We shouldn’t sleep on Aeldari as they are quickly adapting to Aspect Warrior spam to compensation for the loss of easy model Harlequins. Tyranids got off to a good start. Overall the variety of Armour of Contempt armies is really promising outcome from the past weekend.
