Devouring Everything in Sight: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | May 8, 2022

Well that lasted only three weeks, for “Balance” to be die since the “Balance Dataslate” came out. In the four large events from the last weekend, Tyranids took the top spot in the boogeyman awards with seven out of 12 possible Top 3s and taking 3 out of 4 1st place spots. This left every other faction in the dust, with only Aeldari grabbing more than one podium.

The only silver lining from the weekend results is Games Workshop getting a first hand experience on just how broken new Tyranids are with US Open event being dominated by the faction. So we might get Games Workshop to act fast and not wait for the next Chapter Approved to come out, expected in late June at the earliest to do something.
