T-Minus Two Weeks Before LVO 2023: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results
Last weekend, six large 40K events took place with at least 26 players competing in 5 rounds. A total of 18 lists were used, with 11 different factions represented, along with the return of Tyranids from a one-week hiatus. None of the events used the Arc of Omens rules as they were just released on the same weekend as these tournaments. Next weekend could see this change, as events may not be just training grounds for the upcoming Las Vegas Open 2023.

Thanks to the Dutch, we saw Leagues of Votann take a few spots, but with the Ark of Omens’ nerfs, don’t expect them to place in the top 3s anytime soon, unless they are part of an Imperial Guard or Space Marine force. The same might go for Tyranids, who were also hit hard, and as you may have noticed, have been hit or miss of late, as many players don’t want to be caught playing a dead faction walking.
