Arks of Omens has Arrived!: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

by | Jan 22, 2023

Last weekend, nine large Warhammer 40K events took place with at least 26 players competing in 5 rounds. A total of 27 lists were used, with 14 different factions represented, with results being quite skewed. This weekend saw our first results from the long-awaited Arks of Omens season, with Adeptus Custodes making the most waves being totally unshackled from previous nerfs. Next weekend we should see no events besides the Las Vegas Open 2023 using old Nephilim rules.

As expected, Space Marines look are on solid ground with Arks changes, but surprisingly, the strength of the Necrons was though notable. As Nephilim events filter out of the system, it will be interesting to see if the Necrons can maintain strength. It will also be a matter of time before top players can get Space Marine heavy weapon units and vehicles painted and on the tabletop.
