Chaos Spills Blood of the Martyrs: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Over the past weekend, 11 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 33 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 12 distinct factions. While diversity of factions is down for the week, it was great to see Sisters of Battle and Heretic Astartes in many forms dominate, putting Eldar in their place for once.

Notable about the Sisters of Battle’s strong showing is the involvement of high-profile players, making you wonder if there is some hidden tech that has been exploited by some of the best players? It is, however, surprising to see Space Marines perform so poorly thus far, considering their new codex and all the tricks that should make them strong in the current meta.
