The End of the Year Countdown: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Over the past weekend, 4 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 12 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 7 distinct factions. Most likely, we have reached the end of 2023, a rollercoaster of a Meta ride as the year straddled two editions. We conclude the year with Aeldari and Chaos Space Marines duking it out for supremacy in 10th edition, while we await the slow release of new codexes for the other factions that so far just can’t seem to break through.

The largest event of the weekend saw new Necrons claiming the top spot, and there was even an Adeptus Mechanicus presence in another event. However, it’s essential not to read too much into this, as with only four events, there is no definitive indication of which way the meta will lean heading into the new year.
