Golden Boys Return to the Top: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Over the past weekend, 13 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 39 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 19 distinct factions. We are now running at full speed with events since the latest Balance Datasheet, and the results have been very interesting. For one weekend, it seems that the Adeptus Custodes are benefiting greatly from the recent changes, along with Sisters and Orks.

The biggest surprise from the weekend has to be the Blood Angels making a splash with three podium finishes, along with the Sisters of Battle putting in work at the largest events of the weekend. We are fast approaching the release of the next set of Codices, with the Tau and Kroot just around the corner in one of the biggest expansions to a faction in a long time.
