Dude, bad luck on turn 2. I’ve had a few games where shit like this happens. Ie My entire Eldar Tank Firebase wasn’t able blow up a single BT rhino (that’s like 2 prism cannons, 8 shuricannons, 2 Flances, 1 EML and a Pulse lazor) meaning that I lost the game on turn 3 due to an Emp’s champ + Powerfist wiping off my tanks after his incredible shooting immobilised or destroyed them all.

A word on failintegrators, if you please. Those guns are good only when you’ve got ’em over three in your army, just two desi are too few, they also work better on Monsters and marines, plague guys are too tough for them, so that was the result. Try using Desintegrators en masse, shooting all crap from tactical marines (CSM squads) and other non-cheap infantry, concentrating fire on the single squad. They also are capable to deal light damage to rhino-type vehicles, but that would be your “last chance” against armour, desintegrators are not supposed to be AT weapons obviously)
I was very concerned about the amount of circle jerking taking place in this battle report.
Nah, the desinti’s would have been fine , plagued by bad luck from the onset of the game ,they did not arrive til late game , one rolled triple ones to hit twicw in a row and the other one rolled 2’s and threes the first time it shot , it did kill 2 DG eventually. the two should have averaged 1-2 kills per turn , even vs DG as the ap2 blows through FnP , the potential for multiple hits is nice and I think it makes disintegrators more effective vs units in cover than DL’s , will run the maths at some point.
I do not believe in writing something off after only one try , if (like wyches) they fail consistently over multiple games vs a variety of opponents then I’ll cycle them out for more DL’s again.
